課程概述 |
地圖是地理學的語言，其研究內容涵蓋：地理資料的收集、處理與展示。 本課程是空間資訊理論的基礎課程，除了廣泛介紹地圖學的基本概念與空間視覺化的主題，並以專題討論的方式，提供同學延伸三個重要進階議題的深度思考：群眾外包的製圖(crowd-sourced mapping)、空間思考(spatial thinking)及批判觀點的地圖學(critical cartography)。 |

課程目標在於培育學生基礎的空間資訊概念和技能：
1.瞭解地圖學的基本理論與觀念
2.學習地圖的判讀和分析技能
3.熟悉地圖繪製的理論與技術
4.利用地圖理解地理結構與空間分佈的思考
